A marriage breaking down or a big argument with your parents are easy to regret.
But it’s often the things we missed out that were such an accepted part of our environment, that we didn’t even realised we missed them that can cause disease.
For example, you may have had an abusive parent, sibling, child or spouse and breathed a sigh of relief when they left the house. But did you ever long to have a good relationship with them? Did you ever grieve the fact that you may never have that love? Or was it so normal that you just took it in your stride, quick to override that longing in case it ‘hurt’ too much?
Hidden Hurts manifest as hidden illnesses. What hurts in our life are you hiding from? 💝
